As an amateur astronomer I cannot recommend this application enough. The developer is very responsive if you email him directly with any problems you might have. You cannot ask for more. If you have one astronomical app make it this one. If you also have a Nexus 7 like me it is awesome on the larger screen and it works perfectly on Jelly Bean and now that I have a Galaxy Note 3 with Kit - Kat it seems even better. A brilliant app.

I use this program at the telescope as a wonderful little viewing companion. This is by far the most usefull astronomy app that I have downloaded....I am an avivid astronomer and I would recommend this app for any level of interest in the universe around use. Well done! Worth every cent.

Anonymous - July 25, 2012 - Great application I have been using this application for about three months now. It has exceeded my expectations for what I was looking for. It has been very accurate for me as I gaze at the night sky. I'm also happy to see Pluto on the observation menu now as well as a couple layout changes. For the price you can't wrong with this application. I did a little research and tricked a co-worker into buying another app I was looking at & it was a good thing I did, because I didn't like it however he likes it so it is a win win.

It's not for beginners, but if you know your stuff and are looking for an all-in-one at-a-glance session planner, planetarium AND future event planner, this is for you. It looks great on my Galaxy Tab too :-)

Perry - December 22, 2011 - Best for data & events. Compared to other planetarium apps this is the best for listing what's happening in the sky at any given time. Export to calendar is nice. The display can seem crowded at times, use other apps for less info therefore less clutter. Recommended for planning your observing sessions.

This app gives me everything I want to know. I also write a weekly what's Up in the sky and for that it is perfect as well. Stuff like greatest elongation or opposition, which I had to look up on-line before, is now at my fingertips. When people ask which of the moons is transiting Jupiter, I can tell them instantly. Dem Entwickler des Mobile Observatory ist mit dieser App ein Spagat gelungen: Sie ist gleichermaßen für den interessierten Laien als auch für den passionierten Hobby-Astronom geeignet. Der Programmierer macht dies möglich, indem er dem Anwender die vorhandenen, objektbezogenen Informationen in verschieden Ebenen und teilweise konfigurierbaren Ansichten präsentiert.
